Was referred to brooks by my primary docter after having to go on short term disability due to having some back issues. My first visit went great. I saw Mark and he really did help sort out my back issues and the problem seemed to be resolved. The second time I went in to see him I told him that my back was feeling extremely better and told him I thought I was ready to be released back to work since I had no further pain. Mark then proceeced to be really rude to me after telling him I thought I didnt need to visit anymore. Then he told me I need to get a specific test done that cost over 1,000 dollars and that my insurance did not cover. I explained to mark that bc I was on short term disability I would not be able to pay for this, and again got an attitude with me. My work sent him a release form to be filled out. Mark chose otherwise, instead he wrote up his own "release" form and stated at the end that he could not determine whether or not I was able to be released. Not to mention when i called up to the office to see If i could stop in the front dest staff also was really rude. I do not recooment this facility to any one unless your prepared to deal with rude staff and a therapist thst wants to take your money. I even explained to Mark that bc I was on short term disability I wasnt getting paid that much and My fiance just recently lost her jb and I have a family to feed. Do not go here unless you want your money taken.
I was referred to Brooks by my primary doctor. I called to set appointment. I spoke to Sally and she said there is a co pay which was stated on my medicare card of $40.00 for Specialist. I questioned that charge and she said that is what it is. I called Medicare and they said there is "NO co pay, " for physical therapy on my plan. I called back and left a message for Sally, she never had the professional courtesy to even call me back. Stealing money from seniors is not very nice. I called my primary doctor and requested another physical therapist.
Very nice staff
I have been going to Brooks for over five years. First because I had my knees replaced then left arm pain I used their pool for over three years to maintain range of motion. The team of therapist are caring, knowledgable. My mom started going there for water exercise, she loves it there. I understand that the lady had a bad experience. As I once was told. There are bad apples in every bunch. All walks of life has someone that might not treat you right. Don't let it stop you for trying it.
